This Privacy Policy explains how David Kočenda, ID No. 09280880, registered office Boršice 586, 687 09 ("FixMistr", "we", "us", "controller") processes personal data of customers, website visitors, and people contacting us.

FixMistr acts as an intermediary / marketplace that connects customers with independent craftsmen ("Partners") and coordinates job delivery, mainly in Prague and surrounding areas.

Service providers we use (hosting, payment, email/SMS tools) usually act as processors under data processing agreements.

2. What data we process

We process only data needed to receive your request, select a suitable Partner, coordinate and complete the job, handle payment, and meet legal obligations.

Typical categories:

  • Identification/contact data (name, phone, email)
  • Job location data (district/area, and full address when needed)
  • Job details (description, preferred time, technical notes)
  • Photos uploaded by customers (may incidentally include household interiors, personal items, faces, or documents)
  • Payment/invoicing data (billing details, payment status, amount, transaction reference)
  • Communication records (email/phone messages relevant to job handling)
  • Technical website data (IP address, device/browser and cookie data, depending on settings)

3. Purposes and legal bases

We process personal data only for defined purposes and appropriate GDPR legal bases:

  • Handling requests, selecting Partner, and coordinating jobs: contract performance / pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b))
  • Sharing necessary data with selected Partner: contract performance and legitimate interest in efficient service delivery (Art. 6(1)(b), (f))
  • Invoicing, accounting, tax obligations: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c))
  • Customer support, complaints and disputes: contract performance and/or legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(b), (f))
  • Security and fraud prevention: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f))
  • Analytics/marketing (if used): consent where required (Art. 6(1)(a))

4. Recipients

We share data only as necessary, for example with:

  • Selected Partners (independent craftsmen)
  • Banks/payment providers for cashless payments
  • Hosting/cloud provider (Railway)
  • Email/SMS communication providers
  • Accountants/tax advisors (if used)
  • IT support providers
  • Public authorities where legally required

5. International transfers

Data is primarily processed within the EU/EEA. If we use providers outside the EU/EEA, transfers are made only with appropriate safeguards under GDPR.

6. Retention

We keep data only for the period necessary for service delivery, legal compliance, and protection of legal claims (especially accounting and tax retention periods).

7. How we share data with Partners

We share customer data with Partners only in the minimum scope needed to perform the job.

Typical shared data may include:

  • customer name,
  • phone/email for scheduling,
  • service address,
  • job description,
  • relevant photos,
  • time preferences.

8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures, including access controls, account security, encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS), limited internal access to photos/job data, processor due diligence, and regular system maintenance.

9. Your rights

Under GDPR you have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability (where applicable), objection, and withdrawal of consent.

10. Complaints to supervisory authority

You may lodge a complaint with the Czech supervisory authority:

Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ), Czech Republic.

11. Cookies and analytics

FixMistr.cz may use cookies/related technologies for website functionality, analytics, and (if enabled) marketing.

At present:

  • no third-party analytics tool is actively used,
  • no non-essential cookie banner is deployed,
  • non-essential cookies are used only where lawful basis (typically consent) is available.

12. Children

FixMistr services are not primarily intended for children. If we learn that child data was provided unlawfully, we take reasonable steps to delete it.

13. Automated decision-making

We do not use fully automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects in the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version is always published on FixMistr.cz.
